Mushroom curry is made in a thick spicy gravy, it is very easy to make at home and tastes great, it can be made in lunch and enjoyed with roti, paratha or naan .
Ingredients for Mushroom Masala
White button mushroom – 200 grams Oil – 1 tbsp Tomato medium – 1 Onion medium – 1 Oil – 3 tbsp bay leaf – 2 Cumin – 1/2 tsp a small piece of cinnamon Big cardamom – 2 Green cardamom – 4 long – 4 Onion Medium-2 Ginger garlic paste – 2 tbsp Tomato (for puree) – 2 medium Salt – 1 tsp Turmeric -1/2 tsp Kashmiri red chili powder – 1 tsp Red chili powder – 1 tsp Coriander Powder – 1 tbsp Garam Masala – 1 tsp Kitchen King Masala – 1 tsp cream – 2 tbsp Kasuri methi – 1 tbsp |
1- Remove the outer skin of the mushroom, wash it well, clean it and wipe it.
2-Cut into thin pieces, it takes a lot of time to cook if you cut thicker pieces
3- Put a tablespoon of oil in a pan and heat it, add 1 medium sized onion and 1 medium sized tomato, cut into pieces as shown in the picture and fry for 1 minute on high flame and take it out.
4- Now put 3 tbsp oil in this pan (if you eat less oil then you can reduce the amount of oil) and after the oil is heated, 2 bay leaves, cumin 1/2 tsp, a small piece of cinnamon in this pan Add big cardamom 2, green cardamom 4 and long 4 and fry in oil for 30 seconds.
5- Now cut 2 medium sized onions and fry them and let it turn golden brown.
6- When the onion becomes golden brown then we will add 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste and cook it in medium flame for 1-2 minutes.
7- Now add 2 medium sized tomato puree to it and cook till the tomato water dries up.
8- Now if we add dry spices in it then we will add salt 1 tsp, turmeric 1/2 tsp, Kashmiri red chilli powder 1 tsp, red chilli powder 1 tsp, coriander powder 1 tbsp and garam masala 1 tsp and without water Cook the added spices on medium flame for 2-3 minutes
9- Now add 1/2 cup water to the spices and cook for 3-4 minutes.
10- When oil comes over the spices, then put mushrooms in it and cover and cook on low flame for 10 minutes (if you like gravy then add water according to your choice here)
11- Mushroom curry is almost ready
12- Now add a teaspoon of kitchen king masala, 2 tablespoons of homemade cream to the Mushroom curyy, as well as add fried onions and tomatoes and a tablespoon of kasoori methi in step 3 and cover and cook for 2-3 minutes.
13- Tasty mushroom vegetable is ready, garnish it with green coriander and serve with roti or naan in lunch and dinner.
useful tips |
1- If you want to cook the vegetable quickly, then cut the mushrooms into small and thin pieces. 2- To remove the thin layer (peel) on the top of the mushroom, carefully remove the peel with a knife and if you are not able to remove it, then take 2 tbsp wheat flour and mash each mushroom with a light hand, the peel will come out (do not force) Mushrooms are soft 3- Always cut the mushroom only after washing 4- While cutting the mushroom, cut the back part of the mushroom a little bit. |
